A big thank you to my sickle cell transplant sister Osasere for driving all the way from Calgary to speak at this event, as well as Canadian blood services for agreeing to speak about the importance of blood donation in the sickle cell population. I am so proud that we were able to get so many people to sign up for blood donation!
